If you enjoy Mexican casseroles, this is a quick and easy recipe. It is a good vegetarian dish as it has no meat or poultry in it. Perfect for BUNKO or any potluck.

Ingredients

  • 12
    corn tortillas
  • 8 Tbsp
    margarine, melted
  • 2
    4 oz. cans green chilies, chopped
  • 1/2 lb
    sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 large
    onion, chopped
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 12 oz
    evaporated milk

How to Make Green Chili Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Dip tortillas in melted margarine. Tear into bite-sized pieces and set aside. Mix together all remaining ingredients. Fold in tortilla pieces. Put in casserole dish. Bake at 325 degrees for about one hour.
