Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds cooked pork roast, cubed
- 1-101/2 oz can chicken broth
- 1-16 oz. can tomatoes, cut up
- 1-8oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2-7 oz cans diced green chilies
- 1/4 ounce diced hot pepper
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 cup water

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 to 1/2 - onion, diced
- 1-2 16 oz cans refried beans
- - topping
- - grated cheddar cheese
- - shredded lettuce
- - tomatoes, chopped
- - sour cream
- - white flour tortillas
How To Make green chili burritos

Step 1For the sauce: Simmer pork in broth 5-10 minutes. Add canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic, green chilies, hot peppers, sugar and salt. Let simmer 45 minutes. Dissolve the 2 tablespoons flour in the 1/4 cup water and add to sauce to thicken slightly.

Step 2For filling: Brown hamburger and onion;drain grease. Add refried beans and blend together over low heat.

Step 3Wrap flouor tortillas in foil and warm in oven.

Step 4To serve:spoon bean and hamburger mixture on warm tortillas.Roll up tortillas and top with pork sauce.

Step 5Top with cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Then top with sour cream, if desired

Step 6Pork chili sauce freezes well.
