Easy and kid-friendly if they love Mexican as we do!

Ingredients

  • 1 package taco seasoning mix/ 1 ounce packet
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups thick and chunky style salsa
  • 1 pound lean ground beek,cooked amd well drained /80 % lean
  • 1 can grands biscuits
  • 1 cup monteray jack chedder cheese or mexican cheese blend/shredded {4 ounce}
  • 1 cup sour cream/optional
  • - chopped fresh cilantro /optional

How To Make grand taco melts

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Step 2
    in a medium saucepan,cook taco seasoning mix,water,1/2 cup of the salsa and cooked and drained ground beef,until thickened.Add fresh cilantro if desired.
  • Step 3
    press each biscuit into 6 inch round.
  • Step 4
    fill each with taco mixture and 1 tablespoon of the cheese.
  • Step 5
    fold dough over filling and press to seal.
  • Step 6
    place each on a greased cookie sheet.
  • Step 7
    BAKE:9-14 minutes until golden brown.
  • Step 8
    Serve with some of the remaining salsa,more cheese, and sour cream if desired.
  • Step 9
    Easy and so good!
