This recipe came from my husband who made it up by combining flavors that he liked in a hearty but budget friendly sandwich.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds hamburger
- 2 packages mccormicks taco seasoning
- 1 sm. can pork and beans
- 12 slices american cheese
- 24 slices sandwich style bread
How To Make erick's taco melt

Step 1Brown hamburger and add taco seasoning. When meat is fully cooked add beans and cook to heat. Butter one side of bread slices. Heat a large flat bottomed skillet and place in it as many slices of bread that will fit, buttered side down. Put 1 slice of cheese on each piece of bread and cover cheese with meat mixture. Place a second slice of bread, buttered side up, on top. When bottom is golden brown flip and grill top. Serve warm with pickles, chips and a big glass of ice cold milk.
