Ingredients

  • 5
    slices of bacon, diced.
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion.
  • 1/2 c
    chopped green pepper.
  • 1
    clove garlic, minced.
  • 1 c
    regular long grain rice, uncooked
  • 1 can(s)
    (10 3/4 oz.) condensed tomato soup
  • 1
    soup can of water
  • 1 c
    salsa, mild or to your liking

How to Make Easy Pleasy Spanish Rice

Step-by-Step

  1. In a 10" skillet, over medium heat, cook bacon till lightly browned.
  2. Stir in onion, green pepper and garlic.
  3. Cook until tender, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in rice; cook until rice is slightly browned, stirring often.
  5. Stir in soup, water, salsa; mix well.
  6. Over high heat, heat to boiling.
  7. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Until rice is tender.
