Dorito Pie

My family loves pretty much anything Mexican or Tex-Mex. We often use this Taco Meat blend to make Taco "burgers" instead of Sloppy Joe's. This is a fun, comforting kid friendly recipe.

1 lb
ground beef
1 pkg
taco seasoning mix
8 oz
taco sauce
2/3 c
1 can(s)
black beans, drained (optional)
5-6 bag(s)
individual sized dorito chips (any flavor)
grated cheese
shredded lettuce
chopped fresh tomatoes
diced green onion
additional toppings desired (salsa, sour cream, avocado etc.)


1Brown Ground Beef in Skillet. Drain Grease.
2Add Taco Seasoning, Water, Taco Sauce and Drained Black Beans, if desired, to browned ground beef. Simmer for about 5-10 minutes.
3Meanwhile, prepare your desired toppings.
4When the meat is ready, cut the Dorito bags on the side, top the chips with about 1/2 cup of the meat sauce (or more if so desired) and allow everyone to top their Dorito Pie with the toppings of their choice.
5Add Fork and enjoy!
