Ingredients

1 large
onion
1 slice
green pepper, chopped
3 clove
garlic
1 Tbsp
oil
3 c
canned tomatoes
1 box
frozen corn ( can also used canned or bag of frozen)
1/4 c
chopped olives
1/2 tsp
cumin
1/4 tsp
cayenne or paprika
3/4 c
corn meal
salt to taste

How to Make Corn Tamale Bake

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a skillet saute till tender the onion, green pepper, garlic and oil. Add the rest of the ingredients.
  • 2Simmer in skillet, covered for 1 hour. Stir occasionally and add a little water if it gets too thick. (Up to 3/4 cup water). Put in baking dish to warm over.
