This recipe has been in my box for years. I don't remember where it came from but I make it often.

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 pound shredded jack cheese
- 7 ounces diced green chilies
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- - salt to taste
- - cooked chicken (optional)
How To Make chili rice casserole

Step 1Mix cooked rice with sour cream and salt. Spread 1/2 of the mixture in a 1.5 qt casserole dish.

Step 2Sprinkle with jack cheese and chilies. Top with remaining rice mixture. Dot with butter and sprinkle with parmesean cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Step 3Optional: You can add cooked chicken in the middle layer if you are making a main course.
