Ingredients
- 2 boxes jiffy corn bread mix
- 1 - green pepper-chopped
- 1 large onion-chopped
- 1-2 - celery rib-chopped
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 packages hot dogs-cut up into bite sized pieces
- 2 cans chili w/beans
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili pwd
- 1 teaspoon garlic pwd
- 2 cups shredded cheese
How To Make chili cheese dog casserole

Step 1Prepare corn bread batter according to package directions. Spread half the batter into a greased 9 x 13 baking dish; set aside.

Step 2In a large skillet, saute the green pepper, onion and celery in oil until crisp-tender. Stir in hot dogs; saute 3-4 minutes longer or until lightly browned. Stir in the chili, brown sugar, garlic powder and chili powder; heat through. Stir in 3/4 cup cheese.

Step 3Spoon over corn bread batter Top with remaining corn bread batter. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.

Step 4Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 28-32 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving
