Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    hamburger meat
  • 1/2
    onion, chopped
  • 1 can(s)
    chili
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato sauce
  • 1 bag(s)
    original fritos
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, grated
  • ·
    salt and pepper, to taste

How to Make Chili Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Layer 1/2 of the fritos and half of the cheese in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Brown the hamburger with the salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chili when cooked.
  4. Add the cream of chicken soup and the tomato sauce to the hamburger mixture. Combine well and simmer for 5 minutes. This is the next mixture to pour over the fritos and cheese.
  5. Top that with the other half of the fritos; then the rest of the cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
