Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 - green pepper chopped
- 1 - red pepper chopped
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 packages bovril dry beef stock
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 cup salsa, chunky
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups white rice
- - lettuce, chopped tomato, olives, sour cream, nacho chips, salsa.
How To Make cheesy mexican rice bake

Step 1Brown ground beef in skillet

Step 2Add in onions, peppers, and seasonings and saute until vegetables are just soft

Step 3Pour in water,add Bovril,salsa and rice and heat just until liquid is just starting to boil.

Step 4Place mixture in a 6 cup, greased casserole dish and bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

Step 5Place cheese on top of casserole and continue to bake until melted and golden.

Step 6Remove from oven and let sit 5 minutes before serving.

Step 7Top with all of your favorite Taco toppings and enjoy.
