Got tHis from my college teacHer. Really yummy! Originated from tHe Catalina islands in California. It took me 30 minutes to brown tHe meat. If you Have a slow cooker tHan see How long it takes to brown.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 pound ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1-2 - tomatoes chopped
  • 1 - lettuce head
  • 1 package corn chips
  • 1 package shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bottle catalina dressing

How To Make catalina taco salad

  • Step 1
    Brown tHe beef, and drain tHe fat.
  • Step 2
    Add taco seasoning and let it simmer about 5-8 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Remove from Heat and let it stand.
  • Step 4
    In a large bowl, add tHe lettuce, tomatoes
  • Step 5
    Add tHe CHeese
  • Step 6
    Add tHe ground beef
  • Step 7
    Add corn cHips
  • Step 8
    Drizzle on Catalina Dressing
  • Step 9
    Gently Toss To Coat
  • Step 10
    Yields 12 servings. Enjoy!
