How to Make Black Bean Taco Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. If using meat you can brown with the onion and peppers (remove the excess fat afterwards) if not saute peppers and onion with the olive oil until tender add garlic and suatee for 30 more seconds.
  2. Add beans, smash some of them with a potatoe masher but not all. Add spices and salsa.
  3. Add the 1/2-1 cup of water and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Not too much; just enough for the flavors to meld together.
  4. Use for burritos, tocos, or bake with layers of torllias, sauce and cheese.
