This is my mother's favorite way to make meatloaf. It's moist, and if you use your hands to mix it, it works well. Plus, it's easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound hamburger meat
  • 1 box stuffing mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion or 1/2 fresh chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove crushed
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup water
  • ketchup or barbecue sauce for glazing

How To Make stove top stuffing meatloaf

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x9 baking dish or whatever you would like.
  • Step 2
    Mix eggs in a bowl then mix in beef. Add onion and garlic and mix. Add stuffing mix, water, and ketchup.
  • Step 3
    Mix all together and put in a greased baking dish. Mine is about 2 inches thick.
  • Step 4
    Put ketchup or barbecue sauce on top about halfway through cooking.
  • Step 5
    Bake 45 minutes to one hour depending on your oven.
