sandy's meatloaf
This is the meatloaf my mother in law made for my husband and his brother when they were young and they loved it. So I asked her for the recipe and was shocked to hear it included oatmeal!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds hamburger (she uses half ground beef and half ground pork normally, but has also used all ground turkey too)
- 3/4 cup oatmeal, quick or old fashioned, uncooked
- 3/4 cup fine chopped onions (she omits, i would want more)
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 - egg, beat lightly
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
How To Make sandy's meatloaf

Step 1350 degree oven. Mix ingredients together and make into loaf about 6x10 inches. Bake on broiler pan in oven 50-55 minutes or until no longer pink in center and no pink in juices. Stand 5 minutes before cutting.

Step 2I made this, double recipe. Took 60 min to bake.
