1egg, slightly beaten
1 Tbspworcestershire sauce
2 tspbeef soup base (or boullion)
1 1/2 lb90% lean ground beef
1 ccorn flake crumbs or bread crumbs
How to Make Meatloaf
- Whip egg, Worcestershire sauce, soup base gravy & pepper together in mixing bowl.
NOTE: I had leftover chicken gravy that I used even though it was a "beef" recipe. It was wonderful so dont be afraid to use what you have even if it seems "wrong". How will you ever know what's good, bad or indifferent if you don't experiment?
- Mix in beef and corn flake crumbs
- Place in a glass loaf pan.
- FOR MICROWAVE: Cover loosely with plastic wrap. Cook @ 70% power for 22 minutes. Uncover and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
FOR THE OVEN: Bake uncovered @ 375° for 40-45 minutes.
