Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 1/2 c
    ritz crackers, finely crushed
  • 1 small
    onion, chopped
  • 2
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    ketchup
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • TOPPING

  • 3/4 c
    ketchup
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar

How to Make MEATLOAF

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix ground beef, cracker crumbs, onion, eggs,3/4 cup ketchup and 1/4 cup brown sugar till blended.
  3. Shape meat into a loaf and place in loaf pan.
  4. Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through.
  5. Combine ketchup and brown sugar for the topping. Spread on top of loaf and bake 10 more minutes.
  6. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
