Ingredients
- 1/2 cup carrot, shredded
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup quick cooking oats
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
- 1 large egg lightly beaten
- 1/2 jar refrigerated basil pesto
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 8 ounces canned tomato sauce
- 20 ounces lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup ketchup
How To Make italian turkey meatloaf

Step 1Process carrots in a food processor until finely ground. Stir together next 5 ingredients with carrots in a large bowl. Combine salt, pepper and tomato sauce into carrot mixture.

Step 2Add turkey to carrot mixture, combining with hands until well blended. Line loaf pan with heavy duty foil; coat lightly with cooking spray. Place turkey into pan and form into a loaf.

Step 3Bake at 400 for 30 minutes and spread ketchup over meatloaf. Bake an additional 30 minutes or until thermometer inserted in center of mealoaf registers 165 degrees.

Step 4Let meatloaf stand 10 minutes. Slice and serve.
