I never thought of fixing a meatloaf in an iron skillet, but this one is delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup oats, quick cooking
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup ketchup, divided
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar

How To Make iron skillet meatloaf

  • Step 1
    Mix meat, onion, green pepper egg, milk, oats, and 1/4 cup ketchup together by hand.
  • Step 2
    Press into a 12 inch iron skillet.
  • Step 3
    In small bowl, prepare glaze with the remaining 1/2 cup of ketchup and 3 Tbsp brown sugar. Stir well, and spread on top of meat mixture in skillet.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
