I hope you like this meatloaf recipe. It's inspired by Weber's Honey Garlic seasoning. It's so good with mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, and dinner rolls.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup crushed honey roasted peanuts
  • 5 tablespoons honey garlic seasoning, divided
  • 1 tablespoon light olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, peeled and chopped
  • 1 medium orange bell pepper, seeded and sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey, divided
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sweet and tangy seasoning
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs

How To Make honey garlic meatloaf

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Coat a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray. Add crushed honey roasted peanuts and 1 tablespoon honey garlic seasoning; mix well.
  • Step 3
    Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium high heat. Add chopped yellow onion, sliced orange bell pepper, and minced garlic. Cook and saute for 5 minutes or until crispy and tender.
  • Step 4
    Stir in 1 tablespoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of honey garlic seasoning. Remove from heat.
  • Step 5
    In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Dijon mustard, sweet and tangy seasoning, beaten eggs, remaining honey, bread crumbs, sauteed vegetable mixture, and remaining honey garlic seasoning; mix well.
  • Step 6
    Place beef mixture in a prepared loaf pan and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
