Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed Doritos
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 vidalia sweet onion, peeled and sliced
- 1 large carrot, diced
- 3 banana peppers, chopped
- 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 egg whites
- 2 tablespoons steak seasoning
- 4 tablespoons processed cheese sauce
- 8 ounces extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
How To Make doritos meatloaf

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Coat a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray. Add 1/2 cup crushed Doritos; mix well.

Step 3Heat the margarine in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced vidalia onion, diced carrots and chopped banana peppers, saute for 6 minutes or until tender.

Step 4Add 1/2 cup crushed Doritos and crushed red pepper flakes in a large ziplock bag. Transfer sauteed vegetables into the bag with the Doritos mixture; seal it and shake it. Set aside.

Step 5In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, egg whites, steak seasoning, 1/2 cup crushed Doritos, cheese sauce, Doritos-vegetable mixture and shredded sharp cheddar cheese; mix together until blended.

Step 6Press the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle the remaining crushed Doritos on top.

Step 7Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
