    margarine
  • 3
    banana peppers,sliced
  • 1 lb
    ground chicken
  • 3/4 c
    dry bread crumbs
  • 2
    egg whites
  • 1
    (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 c
    creamy french dressing,divided
  • 1 c
    crumbled pumpernickel bread(about 3 bread slices)
  • 1 c
    cream cheese,softened
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded monterey jack cheese

How To Make clayton chicken loaf?

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • 2
    Heat margarine in a large skillet over medium-low heat.Add sliced banana peppers and saute for 8 minutes,until are tender.Set aside.

    Combine ground chicken,bread crumbs,egg whites,dry onion soup mix,1/2 cup french dressing and crumbled pumpernickel bread in a large bowl;mix together until blended.

    Place chicken mixture down on the piece of wax paper and pat it into a rectangle shape about 10x16 inches.

    Spread with cream cheese on the chicken rectangle,top with sauteed banana peppers and sprinkle with shredded monterey jack cheese.

    Carefully lift up the short edge of the chicken rectangle with wax paper and gently nudge and roll up.Seal the edges.Place the chicken roll into a 9x13-inch baking dish.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.Take the chicken loaf out of the oven.Spread the remaining french dressing on the loaf.
