beef & sausage meatloaf

I love a good meatloaf, but sometimes they can be a little bland. I found this Italian sausage in my freezer and thought ,why not? It added the extra flavors that I love ??

Ingredients For beef & sausage meatloaf

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lb
    italian sausage
  • 1
    small chopped sweet onion
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    quick oats
  • 1/4
    parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    a1 sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    ground pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • TOPPING:
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    catsup

How To Make beef & sausage meatloaf

    Preheat oven to 400 Mix all ingredients together (except for the catsup and brown sugar).

    Place into your loaf pan or shape into a loaf shape and place in you baking pan of choice. Bake for 1 hour.

    While that’s baking mix your brown sugar and catsup together well in a small bowl. Once meatloaf is done remove from the oven and spoon the catsup mixture on top of the loaf and place back into the oven for about 20 minutes.

    Remove and enjoy!! Any leftovers (if there are any) also make awesome meatloaf sandwiches!
