tuna pasta salad
This is one of those recipes that you want to make traditionally- but do not have all the right ingredients..so you improvise...and it turned out really good. So don't be afraid to try this one. I think using the soup gives this recipe a very nice flavor. I intend to try it with chicken pasta salad using cream of chicken soup.....

Ingredients
- 1 package wide pasta noodles
- 2 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil
- 4 stalks celery, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 tablespoons minced black olives
- 1/2 cup cooked peas,optional
- 2 large cans white albocore tuna, drained
- 1 can 10 oz. cream of celery soup,undiluted
- 1/2 cup miracle whip salad dressing
- 1 tablespoon each seasoned salt and ground basil
- 2 teaspoons each of garlic powder,old bay seasoning and black pepper
How To Make tuna pasta salad

Step 1Cook pasta al dente, drain place in large bowl.Add both cans of drained tuna(flaked with a fork),celery, onion, olives, peas and butter or olive oil and fold gently to coat evenly. Set aside.

Step 2In a smaller bowl, combine undiluted soup, salad dressing, and seasoning. Stir well to combine.

Step 3Add the soup sauce mixture to the pasta bowl and fold in gently to distribute evenly. Chill for at least 1 hour. Great with crackers.
