I came up with this recipe when I was caught unexpectedly with nothing prepared for a birthday picnic. It was a big hit & I've kept it in my menu. It's simple & quick to fix :-)

    1 bag of salad macaroni
  • ·
    one can of unsalted peas, drained
  • ·
    one cup of shredded cheese , any style or flavor. i prefer fancy shredded sharp cheddar
  • ·
    one envelope dry ranch flavored salad dressing mix
  • ·
    one cup mayonnaise
  • ·
    one small can mushroom bits and pieces

How to Make Roberta's Pasta Salad


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain & rinse with cold water. Let drain thoroughly.
  2. Pour pasta into large bowl, add remaining ingredients mixing thoroughly. Refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to meld.
