I came up with this recipe when I was caught unexpectedly with nothing prepared for a birthday picnic. It was a big hit & I've kept it in my menu. It's simple & quick to fix :-)

Ingredients

  • - 1 bag of salad macaroni
  • - one can of unsalted peas, drained
  • - one cup of shredded cheese , any style or flavor. i prefer fancy shredded sharp cheddar
  • - one envelope dry ranch flavored salad dressing mix
  • - one cup mayonnaise
  • - one small can mushroom bits and pieces

How To Make roberta's pasta salad

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain & rinse with cold water. Let drain thoroughly.
  • Step 2
    Pour pasta into large bowl, add remaining ingredients mixing thoroughly. Refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to meld.
