German Meat Salad I
400 gbologna, german if you have it, (14 oz)
200 gswiss cheese, (7 oz)
4small dill pickles
FOR THE VINAIGRETTE DRESSING
1 Tbspvinaigrette salad dressing
1 Tbspdill pickle juice
FOR THE MAYO
4 Tbspmayo, or as needed or desired
How to Make German Meat Salad I
- Stack the bologna slice into 1/4 inch wide strips, add to a mixing bowl.
- Slice the cheese into long thin slices, then stack and slice those into 1/4 inch wide strips, add to the mixing bowl. I use block cheese.
- Mix together the vinaigrette dressing and pickle juice, add the dressing to the mixing bowl and toss to mix together.
- Cover and place in the fridge to chill for 2-3 hours.
