This is a good way to reduce calories, if that's your thing. Regardless, it's easy, light and quick. It also works with rotisserie chicken. I usually substitute zucchini for the cucumber, but other subs can be made to your liking including skipping the meat entirely.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 tablespoon honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons grated ginger (or 1 tsp. ground ginger)
- 2 cups thinly sliced Napa or other cabbage
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced thin
- 1 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper
- 1 cup shelled edamame
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, cut into strips or cubes
- 1 cup brown rice, cooked
- 1 cup snow peas
- 2 tablespoons peanuts, chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
How To Make asian bowl

Step 1Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, honey and ginger together in small bowl. Set aside.

Step 2Divide cabbage between 2 bowls. Divide rest of ingredients between bowls arranging on top of cabbage.

Step 3Drizzle 1/2 of dressing over each salad and garnish with peanuts and green onions.
