How to Make Three Envelope Venison Roast

  1. Place roast into crock pot. Then sprinkle the garlic and onion slices over the top of the roast. Then sprinkle the Ranch dressing mix powder over the roast.
  2. Next sprinkle the Italian dressing mix over the roast next.
  3. Lastly sprinkle the brown gravy mix over, if you want a bit extra, you can add a second packet of brown gravy mix. Then pour the water in the bottom of the crock. Sprinkle with pepper.
  4. Cook this on low for 8-12 hours. I put mine on at 10pm and let it cook till 2 the next after noon. Before serving you can remove the liquid and put it in a pan and thicken it some more if you like with a cornstarch slurry.
