Always looking for ways to change roasts around so the family does not get tired of them. This is amazing!!!!! I used a crock pot and venison, have used this on beef tho and it is always AMAZING!!!

prep time 5 Min
cook time 12 Hr
method Slow Cooker Crock Pot
yield 6-10 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 4-5 pounds venison roast
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 small head of garlic diced
  • 1 - envelope hidden valley buttermilk dressing mix
  • 1 - envelope good seasons italian dressing mix
  • 1 - envelope mccormick brown gravy mix
  • - pepper to taste
  • 1 cup water

How To Make three envelope venison roast

  • Step 1
Place roast into crock pot. Then sprinkle the garlic and onion slices over the top of the roast. Then sprinkle the Ranch dressing mix powder over the roast.
  • Step 2
Next sprinkle the Italian dressing mix over the roast next.
  • Step 3
Lastly sprinkle the brown gravy mix over, if you want a bit extra, you can add a second packet of brown gravy mix. Then pour the water in the bottom of the crock. Sprinkle with pepper.
  • Step 4
Cook this on low for 8-12 hours. I put mine on at 10pm and let it cook till 2 the next after noon. Before serving you can remove the liquid and put it in a pan and thicken it some more if you like with a cornstarch slurry.
