You can use Panko breadcrumbs instead of tempura batter or use nothing and bake the venison balls. Dish is still tasty any way you make them. Great Asian flavors. Sweet spicy sauce on a bed of pickled carrots. Yum

  • SWEET CHILI SAUCE

  • 3/4 c
    rice vinegar

    sugar

    ketchup
  • 3 Tbsp
    plum sauce

    hoisin sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    each minced garlic, minced ginger, and red jalapeno

How to Make Tempura Fried Venison Balls w Sweet Chili Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Venison Balls

    Place the venison meat, garlic, and ginger in food processor. Blend into a paste. Add the remaining ingredients and refrigerate for 1 hour.

    Place rice vinegar and sugar in a bowl. Place the julienned carrots in the bowl and refrigerate until ready to plate
