Ingredients
- 1 - goose
- 1 bag crab boil
- 1 jar sauerkraut
- 2 - onions, quartered
- 1 - bell pepper, halved
- 2 stalks celery, chopped coarsely
- CASSEROLE
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 - green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup broth from goose
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 1 1/2 cups half and half
- 1 package long grain and wild rice, cooked
- 4 ounces mushroom pieces, drained, and chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom sour
- 8 ounces pepper jack cheese, grated
How To Make gooserole

Step 1Stuff goose with sauerkraut. Place in crockpot with crab boil, onions, bell pepper, and celery. Cook on low in crock pot for 6 - 8 hours until tender. Debone goose. save broth.

Step 2Saute onion, green onion, garlic and mushrooms in butter. Then mix in flour.

Step 3Add stock, wine, cream, goose, and cooked rice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Place in a casserole dish, cover with grated pepper jack cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
