Having a family full of hunters I am constantly trying to find ways to make venison without having it dry and tough. This is so good. The meat is moist, tender and flavorful. I serve this up with mashed potatoes and a vegetable with dinner rolls to soak up the gravy. Yum

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds venison roast
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package onion gravy
  • 1 package brown gravy
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 ounces fresh mushrooms chopped (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

How To Make crockpot venison roast with gravy

  • Step 1
    Place roast in crockpot. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over roast.
  • Step 2
    cook on low 6 to 8 hours
