This was what I came up with yesterday, I wanted to use up the last little bit of smoked turkey we had left in the freezer. There was just enough for one pot of soup. Sorry there are not any pictures of the finished recipe, I wasn’t going to post this but my husband, Bob W and GF said I should so here it is!

Ingredients

  • - left over turkey { wings, drumsticks white and dark meat }
  • - ramen noodles 2 packages { any flavor } i had beef so that is what i used
  • - 1 – 10 ounce can rotel with lime juice
  • - 1 can water { use the ramen can }
  • - 1 – 12 ounce can vernor’s gingerale
  • - 1 teaspoon of sambal oelek
  • - 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar
  • - grated cheddar cheese { for topping }
  • - tortilla chips

How To Make yesterday was a ramen kind of day.

  • Step 1
    Put the seasonings package into a soup pot.
  • Step 2
    Add the Rotel, water, gingerale, Sambal, sugar, to the pot and add any turkey you have left over.
  • Step 3
    When it had simmered on low for about 45 minutes, I removed the wings, and drumstick pulled off the meat and threw it back in, at the last minute threw in the noodles.
  • Step 4
    When it’s done top with cheese and serve with tortilla chips.

    Was so good!
