vegetable broth
1 gal
apple juice
1 c
kosher salt
1 Tbsp
rosemary, dried
1 Tbsp
thyme, dried
1 Tbsp
1 Tbsp
sage, dried

How to Make Turkey Brine


  • 1In a large stock pot, combine all ingredients and heat until boiling. Stir to make sure salt is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool until room temperature.
  • 2Remove innards from turkey and rinse. Pat dry. Place turkey in brine, breast side down. Place in refrigerator at least overnight.
  • 3Remove turkey carefully. Drain excess brine and pat dry. Cook turkey as desired carefully watching thermometer as turkey will cook quicker.
