Ingredients
- 1 gallon vegetable broth
- 1 gallon apple juice
- 1 cup kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon rosemary, dried
- 1 tablespoon thyme, dried
- 1 tablespoon savory
- 1 tablespoon sage, dried
How To Make turkey brine

Step 1In a large stock pot, combine all ingredients and heat until boiling. Stir to make sure salt is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool until room temperature.

Step 2Remove innards from turkey and rinse. Pat dry. Place turkey in brine, breast side down. Place in refrigerator at least overnight.

Step 3Remove turkey carefully. Drain excess brine and pat dry. Cook turkey as desired carefully watching thermometer as turkey will cook quicker.
