turkey and sausage scallop
This is an old recipe that I haven't tried yet. I will have to try it and tweak the directions after I do. I always love recipes to use left-over Thanksgiving turkey!!

Ingredients
- - left over turkey meat, minced
- - cooked sausage, minced
- - gravy or weak stock
- - bread crumbs
- - salt and pepper
- - cream or milk
- 1 - egg
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
How To Make turkey and sausage scallop

Step 1Butter a pudding dish and fill with alternating layers of cold turkey and sausage; season lightly. Pour in as much gravy or stock as the dish will hold; let it soak in for a few minutes and cover with a mush of bread crumbs, peppered, salted and soaked in cream or milk, then beaten smooth with egg and butter; it should be 1/2" thick. Cover and bake for 1/2 hour, then uncover and brown. Serve at once, as the crust will soon fall.
