MY COUSIN NANCY GAVE ME THIS RECIPE. IT'S MARVELOUS WHEN YOU'RE TIRED OF THOSE TURKEY SANDWICHES!! AS THIS IS BAKING YOU'RE TASTE BUDS WILL BE DANCING FROM THE AROMA OF NUTMEG, CINNAMON & SWEET POTATOES!! ENJOY!

Ingredients

2 c
canned sweet potaoes, mashed.
2 Tbsp
packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1/8 tsp & dash(es)
nutmeg
1/3 c
evaporated milk
1/2 c
chicken broth ( reserve 1/4 c to add to onions as needed. i use swanson)
1/4 c
finely minced onion
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
3 c
cut up cooked turkey
3 Tbsp
water

Step-By-Step

1MIX TOGETHER: SWEET POTATOES, BROWN SUGAR, CINNAMON, NUTMEG & MILK IN A MEDIUM BOWL.
2SPRAY YOUR 10" ROUND CASSEROLE DISH WITH PAM. SPOON THE MIXTURE AROUND THE INSIDE EDGE TO FORM A RING.
3HEAT THE BROTH & ONION IN A SKILLET TIL IT BOILS. YOU MAY NEED TO ADD THE OTHER 1/4 CUP BROTH AS THE ONIONS GET TENDER. STIR OCCASIONALLY.
4STIR IN THE SOUP, TURKEY & WATER. COOK & STIR TIL BUBBLING.
5SPOON TURKEY MIXTURE INTO THE CENTER OF YOUR SWEET POTATO RING.
6BAKE @ 350 DEGREES FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 - 35 MINUTES....YOU WANT THE TURKEY TO BE HOT & BUBBLING. **I LET IT REST FOR 5 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING.
