The turkey pictured as my profile image is the unfried turkey. I cooked it in my oil less fryer. It turned out wonderful.

10/14 lb
turkey
1-4 Tbsp
olive oil
your favorite rub recipe
your favorite injectable poultry marinade
oil less deep fryer found at lowe's or home depot

How to Make Oil less fried tukey

Step-by-Step

  • 1Completely wash the turkey inside and out. Pat dry. Remove giblet bag and neck bone of course. Do not discard. Use for your dressing and or gravy
  • 2rub the olive oil on inside and outside of bird. Coat the bird with your favorite rub recipe or just salt and pepper. You can also brine the bird with you favorite brine. But still pat dry and rub with olive oil liberally.
  • 3Inject your favorite poultry marinade. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight is best.
  • 4No preheating is needed for the oil less deep fryer. Follow instructions. Purchase a remote thermometer follow instructions place bird in basket provided lower into the cooking unit turn it on and wait for your thermometer to beep or buzz. Cover fryer for 15 to 20 mins with lid provided to perfectly brown and crisp the skin. Remove, rest bird for 15 to 30 mins carve and enjoy with your next Thanksgiving feast
