mouth watering turkey meatloaf
My family prefers this over traditional meatloaf made with ground beef. I get requests for this and there is never any leftovers!

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3/4 cup onion finely chopped
- 1/4 cup green pepper, finely chopped
- 2 cloves medium garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1-1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 - egg lightly beaten
- 1-1/4 pound ground turkey
- TOPPING
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried mustard
How To Make mouth watering turkey meatloaf

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Saute onion, green pepper and garlic for 3 minutes. Cool.

Step 3Combine onion mixture, cheese and all ingredients except turkey in a large bowl. Crumble turkey over onion mixture and stir until just blended.

Step 4In greased 13 x 9 inch casserole dish shape into 2 small loaves and bake for 1 hour.

Step 5Meanwhile, stir ketchup, brown sugar and mustard together and spread over top of meatloaves, or serve on the side.
