Ingredients
- 5 - dried red chilies, more or less to taste
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 2-3 pounds steak (skirt or flank)
How To Make chile carne asada

Step 1Rehydrate the dried chiles which will take about 30 minutes and puree.

Step 2Whisk the chile puree, the lime juice and cumin together.

Step 3Rub the mixture on the meat, cover and let it marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight if you can.

Step 4Bring to room temperature and cook on a medium hot grill to desired doneness.
