Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked and cleaned shrimp
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 large onions chopped small
- 2 1/2 stalks celery chopped small
- 2 cans whole tomatoes (i use the 28 oz. size)
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
- 2 - 3 dashes red pepper (cayenne)
- 1 clove finely chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons worchester sauce
- 1 large green pepper chopped small
- 4 - 6 cups steamed rice
How To Make the best shrimp creole

Step 1Fry bacon crisp and drain.

Step 2Brown onions in bacon grease. Add other ingredients, except shrimp.

Step 3Cook slowly for 1 hour. Add bacon crumbled. Add shrimp and simmer until shrimp is cooked (careful that you don't over cook the shrimp).

Step 4Serve over steamed rice.
