seared ahi tuna with mojo my way
Mojo is a wonderful Cuban marinade/sauce mix. It has some tart and sweet tones to it and makes a flavorful sauce. I added my favorite chicken bouillon to amp up the flavor even more.

Ingredients
- 2 - ahi tuna filets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 package knorr's home-style chicken bouillon or 1 tbsp. butter than bouillon chicken bouillon
- - mojo
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup lime juice
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
How To Make seared ahi tuna with mojo my way

Step 1Mix all ingredients for mojo together and marinate the tuna fillets for 6 hours

Step 2Remove the tuna from the marinade reserving the marinade.

Step 3Add olive oil and butter to hot pan over med high heat. Sear the tuna on both side.

Step 4Reduce heat to medium and pour in the marinade. Add chicken bouillon. Mix well and baste tuna with sauce.

Step 5cook until desired doneness of tuna. I like mine rare. Remove tuna and continue to cook the sauce until reduced to desired thickness. Serve sauce over tuna.
