seafood casserole
I originally got this recipe from one of my best friends who got it from her mother-in-law while we still lived in Iowa. It's really easy to make and very delicious.

Ingredients
- 1 package uncle ben's wild rice and long grain rice mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 10 ounces shrimp, frozen and cooked
- 1 can crabmeat
- 1 cup slivered almonds
- 1 cup bread crumbs, regular
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 package 8 ounces medium cheddar cheese
How To Make seafood casserole

Step 1Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.

Step 2Cook the Uncle Ben's wild and long grain rice mix according to package directions.

Step 3Place the rice in a large mixing bowl and add the mushroom soup, the cooked shrimp, the can of crabmeat, the almonds, and the cheddar cheese.

Step 4Pour the mixture into a medium-sized baking dish.

Step 5Sprinkle the top with bread crumbs.

Step 6Melt the butter in the microwave or in a small saucepan on top of the stove.

Step 7Pour over the bread crumbs.

Step 8Bake for 30 minutes.
