I wanted to make clam chowder, but didn't have any cream, so I figured on making a casserole and came up w/ this. Hope you like it.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups reduced-fat, shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans condensed new england clam chowder
  • 1 - 6-1/2 oz can minced clams, drained
  • 2 - thinly sliced scallions
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 cup crushed oyster crackers
  • 1-1/2 tablespoon melted butter

How To Make n.e clam chowdah casserole

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375. Spray a 8" square baking dish w/ cooking spray. Cook macaroni as directed, drain.
  • Step 2
    Add cheese, chowder, clams, scallions and pepper to macaroni, mix well. Pour into baking dish. Sprinkle w/ crushed crackers, drizzle w/ butter.
  • Step 3
    Bake 25 mins, or until bubbly.
