I wanted to make clam chowder, but didn't have any cream, so I figured on making a casserole and came up w/ this. Hope you like it.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz
    elbow macaroni
  • 2 c
    reduced-fat, shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 2 can(s)
    condensed new england clam chowder
  • 1
    6-1/2 oz can minced clams, drained
  • 2
    thinly sliced scallions
  • 1/2 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1 c
    crushed oyster crackers
  • 1-1/2 Tbsp
    melted butter

How to Make N.E clam chowdah casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 375. Spray a 8" square baking dish w/ cooking spray. Cook macaroni as directed, drain.
  2. Add cheese, chowder, clams, scallions and pepper to macaroni, mix well. Pour into baking dish. Sprinkle w/ crushed crackers, drizzle w/ butter.
  3. Bake 25 mins, or until bubbly.
