Prawns fried in garlic, paprika, cumin, ginger and honey. Super quick and easy.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams large prawns, peeled, deveined
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon flat leaf parsley, finely chopped

How To Make moroccan honey and paprika prawns

  • Step 1
    Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes, add the garlic. Reduce heat to medium and saute the garlic for 1-2 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add all the ground spices and honey stir well to combine. Turn heat to high and add the prawns.
  • Step 3
    Stir to coat them and cook for 4-5 minutes until the prawns are pink.
  • Step 4
    Remove from heat, squeeze on lemon juice, add parsley, toss then serve immediately.
