Ingredients
- 8 ounces uncooked linguine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 can about 14 ounces stewed italian style tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
- 1 can 10 ounces whole baby clams, drained, reserve juice
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
How To Make linguine with clam sauce

Step 1Cook linguine according to package, drain and set aside.

Step 2While pasta is cooking heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook and stir 3 minutes. Add tomatoes, garlic and basil and cook and stir 3 minutes. Stir in wine and reserved clam juice; bring to a boil and simmer uncovered about 5 minutes.

Step 3Stir in clams, parsley, salt and pepper. Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through. Spoon over linguine. Serve immediately.
