  • 6 medium
    atlantic salmon, filet
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried minced onion
  • 2 1/2 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 2 tsp
    ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 2 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 medium
    lemon slices
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder

How to Make Jamaican Jerk Blackend Salmon


  1. In a small bowl, all spices together until well combined.
  2. Coat salmon filet with olive oil. Rub spice mix onto each filet until coated well. Heat grill or skillet on medium heat.
  3. Put the salmon skin side down and cook for 10 min. Flip over and grill on flesh side for an additional 3-5min. It should be dark brown and salmon will be cook through but not dry. Garnish with lemon.
