Ingredients

6 medium
atlantic salmon, filet
1/2 tsp
ground cinnamon
2 Tbsp
dried minced onion
2 1/2 tsp
thyme, dried
2 tsp
ground allspice
1/2 tsp
cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp
salt
2 tsp
ground black pepper
2 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin
1 medium
lemon slices
1 tsp
garlic powder

How to Make Jamaican Jerk Blackend Salmon

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a small bowl, all spices together until well combined.
  • 2Coat salmon filet with olive oil. Rub spice mix onto each filet until coated well. Heat grill or skillet on medium heat.
  • 3Put the salmon skin side down and cook for 10 min. Flip over and grill on flesh side for an additional 3-5min. It should be dark brown and salmon will be cook through but not dry. Garnish with lemon.
