This is my go to fish dish it has such a flavor and makes you feel like an Island paradise awaits you!

Ingredients

  • 6 medium atlantic salmon, filet
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons thyme, dried
  • 2 teaspoons ground allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 medium lemon slices
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make jamaican jerk blackend salmon

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl, all spices together until well combined.
  • Step 2
    Coat salmon filet with olive oil. Rub spice mix onto each filet until coated well. Heat grill or skillet on medium heat.
  • Step 3
    Put the salmon skin side down and cook for 10 min. Flip over and grill on flesh side for an additional 3-5min. It should be dark brown and salmon will be cook through but not dry. Garnish with lemon.
