grouper with herbs and garlic
This is one of my many newspaper clippings that are beginning to yellow. I have made it several times--and if you like that touch of spicy with you fish, this one is for you!

Ingredients
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- 1/2 bunch flat-leaf parsley
- 2 large cloves garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
- 10 ounces grouper, cut in two pieces
How To Make grouper with herbs and garlic

Step 1Preheat broiler. Cover broiler pan with nonstick foil.

Step 2Wash, dry and coarsely chop cilantro and parsley. Mince cilantro, parsley and garlic and garlic in a food processor.

Step 3Add cumin, red chili flakes, lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon olive oil and process until well blended.

Step 4Rinse and dry fish. Brush remaining oil on foil. Place fish in a single layer on the foil, and spread herb mixture evenly over fish.

Step 5Broil fish 4 inches from heat, about 8 minutes, or until just cooked through.
