My husband likes these with tartar sauce I prefer a creamy mustard sauce.

Ingredients For crab cakes

  • 1 lb
    lump crab meat.
  • 1/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 2
    scallions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp
    mustard, spicy brown
  • 1/4 c
    bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 c
    panko breadc rumbs
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    ginger
  • 1/4 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1
    egg
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    olive oil

How To Make crab cakes

    In a bowl, mix well all ingredients except the oil.

    Form the mixture into 8 cakes.

    Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • 4
    Carefully place cakes in the oil. Don't crowd the cakes in the skillet. Fry them in batches until golden brown. About 4 minutes per side. Serve warm with your favorite sauce.
