Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    lump crab meat
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 1/4 c
    mayo
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    old bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1/2 c
    fine bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsely

How to Make Crab Cakes

Step-by-Step

  1. Stir all ingredients except crab meat, breadcrumbs and parsley. Cover and chill for an hour or more.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 F.
    Mix the chilled ingredients (using your hands) the crab meat,breadcrumbs and parsley .
    Try not to break up the lumps of crab.
  3. Shape into mounds (don't flatten or make patties)on a non-stick sprayed sheet with sides, also lightly spray the crab cakes to help brown them.
  4. When putting them in the oven, place 3 ice cubes on the tray, this will help prevent the bottoms from burning. Bake 400 F 10-15 minutes.
