Ingredients

  • 1 pound lump crab meat
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons old bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon parsely

How To Make crab cakes

  • Step 1
    Stir all ingredients except crab meat, breadcrumbs and parsley. Cover and chill for an hour or more.
  • Step 2
    Preheat oven to 400 F. Mix the chilled ingredients (using your hands) the crab meat,breadcrumbs and parsley . Try not to break up the lumps of crab.
  • Step 3
    Shape into mounds (don't flatten or make patties)on a non-stick sprayed sheet with sides, also lightly spray the crab cakes to help brown them.
  • Step 4
    When putting them in the oven, place 3 ice cubes on the tray, this will help prevent the bottoms from burning. Bake 400 F 10-15 minutes.
