- 2/3 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

How To Make cornmeal mustard fried catfish

Step 1Mix the cornmeal, flour, salt, paprika, and black pepper in a shallow bowl.

Step 2Spread the mustard over the fillets. Dredge in the cornmeal mixture.

Step 3Heat oil to 350 degrees. Fry fish totally covered by oil for about five minutes.
