    flour

    paprika

    black pepper

    oil for frying

How to Make Cornmeal Mustard Fried Catfish

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix the cornmeal, flour, salt, paprika, and black pepper in a shallow bowl.
  2. Spread the mustard over the fillets. Dredge in the cornmeal mixture.
  3. Heat oil to 350 degrees. Fry fish totally covered by oil for about five minutes.
