Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
- 1 stick butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup scallions thinly sliced divided
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- - salt to taste
How To Make cajun shrimp with creamy sauce

Step 1Season the shrimp with the cajun seasoning. Add 3 tbsp of butter to saute pan and cook the shrimp on each side about 3 minutes per side. Remove from pan and set aside.

Step 2Add the rest of the butter to pan. Add garlic and the white parts of the scallions. Saute 2 minutes. Add the wine and let most evaporate scrapping up bits.

Step 3Add the flour and make a roux and cook 3 minutes. Add the heavy cream. Season to taste with salt.

Step 4Serve the sauce on the plate with shrimp on top and garnish with the green parts of the scallion.
